The Pine View Management Team
Residential Property Manager
I first came to Pine View as a resident in 2012. My husband and I both completed our graduate/seminary studies here at CIU. When we returned from overseas ministry, we chose to return to Columbia to live on campus as alumni. Living at Pine View has been a great fit for our family. Our neighbors are our friends. The family-friendly atmosphere has been a great environment for our son. And we love the location! Our son can walk to and from Ben Lippen School each day, and living so close has helped our family to be connected to both CIU and Ben Lippen. I love serving the Pine View community!
I moved from my home in Ellsworth, Maine to Pine View in August 2017 when I enrolled in CIU to attain my masters degree in Clinical Counseling. I love working and living at Pine View! There is a sense of community that overflows from CIU into Pine View. The convenience of living on campus is wonderful! I can walk/drive home in between classes and don’t have to pack a lunch! The Pine View Community Center offers wonderful perks like free coffee, breakfast, and other events that makes me as a resident feel loved and as a staff member gives me a chance to serve my wonderful community! I look forward to meeting and working with all of my Pine View neighbors.
Pine View Maintenance Technician
I came to CIU and Pine View because of my kids. My wife and I desired a Christian education for our children before they were even born. Ben Lippen has so much to offer: loving teachers, a curriculum that helps kids thrive at every level, and extracurricular activities my kids love. I joined the CIU/Pine View Maintenance Team in 2014. With more than 35 years of experience, I’ve dedicated my career to maintenance. What I do is a lot like being a detective: I investigate the maintenance issues and search for the best solutions. I’m motivated by my love for people. I love serving the Pine View community and working with the CIU Maintenance Team to make sure our residents are taken care of.
